The Teardrop Walnut (TW) dulcimer is built with bookmatched solid walnut back and sides and a Western red cedar soundboard. It is available with the Honduras Mahogany partial scroll peghead. The dulcimer has a walnut fingerboard overlay with mother of pearl position markers in frets 3, 7, 10 and 14.

Style IW Walnut - $495.00

The Style I dulcimer is built with bookmatched solid walnut back and sides and a Western red cedar soundboard. It is available with either the partial scroll peghead (shown) or a flat guitar-style peghead at no extra charge. The dulcimer has a walnut fingerboard overlay with mother of pearl position markers in frets 3, 7, 10 and 14.

Style II

Walnut, Cherry, Maple or Rosewood

The Style II dulcimer was designed to satisfy the most demanding players and is preferred by professional musicians for its excellent tone, sustain and balance throughout the entire range of the instrument. We use the most select woods for every part of the instrument and combine them to produce an elegant dulcimer unequaled in tone, performance and appearance.

We enjoy personalizing an instrument to order, and are always happy to discuss individual options and designs with you. Over the years we have created many unique instruments, most based on the Style II shape, and variations in woods, features and fret patterns are easily accommodated.
